You don't need to know the full story. Seismologists can't predict earthquakes. It's beyond the ability of the current state of the science of seismology to do that. Holding seismologists accountable for not predicting an earthquake is patently ridiculous.

Actually mayonnaise is usually not the culprit when things go bad (like a seafood salad). They've done tests, and things don't grow in mayonnaise very well because it's acidic. It's only when you add something else (like shrimp) that you have issues with stuff going bad.

You display a radical lack of understanding of the 4th Amendment. What the TSA (a government agency) does is a clear violation of it. The government can't execute a search or seizure unless they have specific and compelling evidence that you, as an individual, have broken the law or are conspiring to.
