No, I don’t think it was. His show wasn’t really a straight comedy. It was just vignettes, some funny, some dark, some just slice of life stuff, some surreal

They even have the pulsing ball on the blocked shot! Now we just need it to catch on fire.
I see that “goon” is going to be the next trendy word amongst the good ol GMG.
Eh. She won the Pulitzer for commentary, not any of the categories pertaining to actual reporting, let alone investigative reporting. Not the fairest comparison here.
Goddamn, man. Goddamn.
Andromeda, which I’ll probably finish this weekend, then back to Nier. Having a hard time playing video games though, because I’m 36 hours off nicotine and could just murder the world right now. It’s best for me to stay active in these trying times.
What exactly makes him “not black?” Genuine question, because I do not get it.
Oh absolutely. Those were just two examples I used to represent the overblown and non-overblown issues. Another non-overblown one being unable to complete missions (either the prompt to talk to someone doesn’t come up, or it just doesn’t complete itself in the journal). The more game-halting stuff is not overblown…
Some of the game’s issues were not overblown and some (most, I’d say) were.
The not-underrated-but-still-too-hated Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Huh. Apparently I love Frost Bite shit. I never knew this about myself! Thanks!
We’re very good at fooling ourselves into thinking what we want is reality. “Ooooh, she flicked her hair. MUST WANT THE D!”
Eh. I think it’s a generational thing. My parents feel weird about going to dinner with a non-family member of the opposite sex one-on-one too. My mom had lunch one time with my a family friend while planning my dad’s surprise party, and she said even that felt weird. And they’d known each other for over a decade…
Yeah, I always feel the need to disclaim I’m a first timer. And I get the disappointment. A bunch of friends of mine are big ME fans, and they were a little let down. (Exact quote when I asked one how he liked it: “It’s a sensitive subject. Definitely the end of something and the building of another.”)
If this game didn’t have “Mass Effect” in front of the subtitle, it wouldn’t necessarily get more love, but it would get a lot less hate.
I feel the same way. Having a history of substance abuse and a disorder that required a lot of years of therapy, I sympathize with others who don’t always have control over themselves. My mantra is “It might not be your fault, but it is your responsibility.” The fault lies in not helping ourselves.
I know :(

I really wish I could romance Suvi. Goodness me. *swoon*
Right?? It seems to me that most people are pretty understanding of others if come out and say, “I’m troubled/have deep issues/etc., I acknowledge that, and this is what I’ve done/am doing to rectify my behavior for the betterment of myself and others.” Or something like that.
