Developing games takes in-person collaboration and brain-storming.  Developers working remote is likely what is causing all the glitch fest games released in the last couple years.  Many jobs can be remote and work really well but most jobs in the development world can’t or at least can’t to achieve the best results. 

Definitely not impossible to get. I got one a few days after launch randomly on Amazon at normal price for a disc version. I didn't even reserve. Even if bots by them first, end users buy from scalpers. Scalpers aren't in the warehousing business. Sony's user base is growing and faster than it did on PS4.
