Anyone else love the fact that Dani Pudi was the one breaking the fourth wall ala Abed on Community? Straight flashback to season 5 episode 12 of Abed ducking the camera and running away from the story.
I do like this idea at least for one night of a Bachelor party.
For my bachelor party, we went out for really nice steaks, then played boardgames for like 12 hours in a hotel room stocked with chips, wings, beer, and sodas. As a long time boardgame geek, it was pretty awesome.
Reading this reminds me of first playing Fatal Fury in the arcades as a kid. I know no one plays Japanese fighting games for their geographic integrity, but it still cracks me up to see Mount Rushmore among the arid mesas of the Southwest.
If so, this would be the first time in crowdfunding history when backers input has improved the game.
I believe they also gave development reasons to also explain the gender-locking. It is true that supporting additional genders to races = additional development time, that much is clear to those who understand mmo game development.
Holy crap they flipped the origin story!
Usually it’s a member of Overwatch going to Talon! Now, we got a former Talon going Overwatch!
E-Sports: “We want to be treated as legitimate sports, like any other!”
Sports: “Well, a good place to start would be to institude codes of conduct.”
E-Sports: “That’s crazy talk! Teams can just police themselves!”
Sports: “...uh huh.”
Can’t forget Guile’s theme!
“It is to our regret that some players might have felt that things could be handled better,”
“The monitor that was connected directly to the PlayStation 4 didn’t have input lag but the other one did,”
I am a whole weeb and I love musicals, but like...please stop adapting Densha Otoko.
I liked Densha Otoko well enough but it was already sort of a weird and cheesy thing with all the awkwardness that’s involved with Neets and Online culture. Having it turned into a musical about a stereotypical clueless nerd isn’t going to stray too far from the caricature of a Otaku that the show has already…
I’d consider those other characters more “classic” than K. Rool. Ness and Simon are pretty much synonymous with their franchises and GaW, Duck Hunt, and ROB are parts of Nintendo history.
It’s time for Cliffy B. to fade away in the sands of time, along with the last of the “rockstar game developers”. One charismatic dude with 3 plucky programmers can’t make a massively successful game anymore.
Everyone knows that the real villain of vermintide 2 is the sack rat. Only he can turn a clean champion+ run into a gibbering mess of loosely coordinated solo players with a simple uttering of the phrase, “Mine!”
We could’ve had a spiritual Galaxy Rangers game? Ugh... NOW I’m upset.
Y’know what? Thanks for taking the time to break things down to the level you did; there’s a tendency in current social discourse to immediately take the most emotionally-reflexive and intellectually simple reaction to any situation, and I really appreciate that you slowed down and broke this situation into its…
