Well the tracks are remixed by popular DJs and some of the existing tracks could have additional music or vocals added in by popular artists. Even if it is just for one song, hiring all those professional musicians do cost a pretty penny. In addition to an original story, they gotta make their money back somehow.

Well the original Persona games and some of the Shin Megami Tensei titles were very similar to Etrian Odyssey so it felt like it was a return to form. But if you don’t find that kind of gameplay fun then its doubtful adding a Persona coating could make it better for you.

Man, PQ was a surprise. I got what I wanted with it, a fan-service game with lots of nods to both games and a more reasonably paced Etrian Odyssey, but towards the end it just got heart-wrenching. I almost cried at certain points.

The Persona games have always been known to have a good soundtrack and Atlus takes advantage of this. If this is anything like Persona 4 Dancing All Night, then it will have a canonical storyline that isn’t too serious. Fans of Persona games will get their moneys worth with the story, remixed music and fan service.

You read my mind. There had better be at least 3 different costumes for Koromaru and 5 DLC costumes.

This direction of thinking does legitimately interest me though. I remember Persona 4 Arene is not too popular with FGH because it is TOO balanced. There was no way to ramp up insane combos or infinites. Pro players couldn’t find systems they could exploit and that discouraged a lot of them from playing it.

Doesn’t ultimate ninja storm have a competitive scene?

I will admit, it is kinda cool seeing those card game characters come to life.

It is pretty notorious for having pretty deep mechanics that dont make things easy for beginners. The story alone is pretty dense with time travel complicating things even further. Each character having their own mechanic was cool and showed technical brilliance, but now that there are so many characters, its a little

Now I want Takahata 101 to voice someone.

Turn that into her bedtime story and you’ll be set until she is 15.

I think we would all be unhappy if Chris Tucker voiced ANY character.

Curse you for making me nostalgic for City of Heroes/Villains! On a related note Scirocco has shades of this as well as he was a good man whose actions will forever be cursed to do great evil. His master plan was to rewrite existence to turn all villains good, even if this meant mass murdering them.

I think that applies to Frank Abagnale Jr. the guy who “Catch me if you can” was based off. When he got caught and after he served his sentence, he used his skills as a con artist and counterfeiter to advise the FBI
