There is a program the conflicts with the setup... It seems this is even before the part where it goes full screen...
Yup, this is exactly what I did... When I re-installed over it, I had to do a file integrity check for things to work... Just right-click the game, then select local files tab, then do the integrity check (I'm recalling from memory, might not be the exact wording)

Bam! Not to mention you have to pay a fee to register in the first place!
Exactly, like I was telling people.... If we keep ourselves locked on the design standards of the past, when will we ever adopt new interfaces that will open up new methods of interactions moving us forward to new design standards? When will we be getting our modern future interconnected home if we keep ourselves tied…
I've done a fair amount of research and there hasn't been any specific law regarding it, which is why it is considered under the same legal structures of any other product you buy (cars, personal appliances, etc) Not really black and white (since it isn't specifically specified anywhere) but the concept is pretty much…

Thank you. I should probably link this to all of those youtube hate going around... But then again, some people are unreasonable and closed minded that they don't care how much you try to reason with them or present them with facts. They hate it because they just have to, not because they actually do but just because…
Jailbreaking/Rooting is still a grey area in Canada... Which means, it is neither legal nor illegal to jailbreak or root your devices. Either way, you still voided your warranty for "modifying" or "hacking" your device. Yes, you own your device, but you can't claim free repairs or replacements anymore.
That's exactly how the dumbed down version of their statement is. If I were that judge, I'd be pissed.
That wasn't even close to an apology... It's like, writing an article about themselves about something we already know... I wasn't even able to read the words, "regret", "apologize", or "sorry" at all!
I've always had this naming scheme:
You can actually directly upgrade Consumer Preview to RTM by modifying a file in the installer... Most report it works without much issue, if any. It just advised that a clean install be done instead of an upgrade if you're coming from the preview versions because "there might be some random bug that will pop up down…
I'm using Steam on the final version (via MSDN) of Windows 8, and have no problems with any of the games... If it can run on Windows 7, it's gonna run without any problems.
Not really... It's all about Facebook chat now... Other than that, I have skype... Pretty much it...
uhm.... ok
I'm fairly impressed with the integration and connectivity Microsoft is building in and around its products... They truly are moving towards a much more centralized and connected world... I could easily see most of their future vision stuff here today...
If you have Windows 8, you can download the smartglass app, regardless if you have touchscreen... although, I haven't tried it myself, but using it with the mouse and keyboard might be a little clunky...
To be honest, most people don't need more than 4GB of RAM. I don't see why having only 4GB is a pitfall. It's more than adequate to run a heck of a lot, especially if you think of this as a desktop on the go. Lots of programs are now getting better optimized to run with less and less RAM as they could... But yeah, for…
