Well I’ll be. I only paid attention to the first ten words, but I found that I could recall each one when the loci flashed at the end.

When I’m emperor I’ll make all this stuff free from clinics. Hand this shit out like fucking candy. People should be able to have kids when they want to and not when they don’t.

thanks for improving the outlook of my week, y’all

After reading this, I think I can now excel at Word.

The great thing about computers today is that processors haven’t really improved drastically enough to warrant regular upgrades every few years. I’m typing this up on a 2012 model System76 and it’s still plenty fast. Buy for quality and you won’t need to upgrade for 4-5 years.

Where’s the Naruto charger?

I’m sorry, but as an artist and writer myself that mentality really pains me. I wish less people had that mentality

I find poorly made movies boring, not fun, and tedious, even with my brain turned off. There’s a difference between well-made trash and complete crap.

I never got that mentality... if you’re only interested in the exciting visuals, why see a movie at all? You could just wait until someone uploads all the fight scenes and watch them on Youtube. If I’m actually going to go watch a film I’d like for the story to at least not be so bad that it distracts me from enjoying

So it is better than Rocky V.

I dunno. I find io9's actual reviews to be generally good and even-handed.

You’d probably be better off watching the last 152 minutes of Tommy Morrison’s life.

When all else fails, remember: Zack Snyder is, has been, and will be a hack director.

Since this is Vitals, I’d like to inform would-be swimmers that water is the number one cause of drowning in people who swim.

This is also very good advice! Could’ve saved me some troublesome relationship drama, in fact.

I think it can apply to first encounters you really liked, too. Don’t get too involved with someone you just met even if you greatly enjoyed your first encounter! Once I was trying too hard to find friends in an new area and had to have an awkward 'friend break-up', so now I have a three encounter rule for myself in

I like the idea, but I couldn’t justify spending $5 for what is basically a timer

The advice seems worthless without providing proper alternatives.

Yeah well Google isn’t going anywhere either, and we all remember Google Reader.

OK, I understand the need to focus, but writers don’t work like that. You write, hate it, walk away, have a sandwich, come back, peck at it for a while, get a good direction, write and edit a little more, get stuck, walk away, sleep on it, come back to it, write 2-5 pages, lather, rinse repeat. I’d never use something
