God forbid it rains, then I'm looking at 3 hours sometimes to get home. The train is definitely quicker on those days, but like I said before I can't turn down the free ride home from my friend. It saves me $10 a day.

Trying to get back across the Hudson River on a bad day is an absolute nightmare. You can literally be sitting in one spot for at least 45mins.

NYC. Train and then walk to the office is 1 hr 30 mins, and I get a ride home from a friend which on a bad day is 2 hr 30 min. Have to save the money with the free ride home. Traffic can be brutal.

I have a 4 hour total commute. And I only live 15 miles from my office.
