I use this monitor for work. It’s a decent monitor, you’re only going to get 30Hz with HDMI. You need to use the DisplayPort for 60Hz. Also color reproduction is not that great. I wouldn’t recommend for photo/video editing.

Trust me, Refresh Rate > Resolution. 1080p is fine, 4K is cool too, but a huge strain on the GPU. I think 1440p at 144Hz is a really good sweet spot.
