@Jagvar: A fridge like that is a requisite wherever you are; home, garage, basement, pool, office, movie theater, bathroom, dance recital, wedding, ball game, the list goes on ... and on.

@Tossed Mazda3hatch's Chicken Salad all over Accord's face with a plate of croutons and Bleu Cheese

Have to say, I am a sucker for a nice carport. No matter how well intentioned one is, garages always get filled with crap. Even fantasy ones. Car ports, not so much; no place to put crap. This allows for the cars to stand on their own, without distractions, in their natural glory and environment. Plus they are

FLO is the type of girl I would describe as "damaged goods. "

Also Jill Wagner. Not exactly sure why, but those Mercury commercials always caught my attention. She will be missed.

Women who know how to drive stick and drive well. Watching a lady row through the gears in a skirt is a thing of beauty. The interaction with the clutch pedal; hand on the gear shift. Great stuff. I spent a couple of long drives with a lovely lady in a Miata back in the day who taught me a thing or two about

A love of clutch balance and everything in-between.

The Fiero. No one wants to be the Fiero guy. This much I know to be true. Once you go Fiero, you have made the decision (conscious or not) that a real sports car will never be part of your future. It's a car that sounds great in theory or so you tell yourself (mid engined, small, light sports car) but deep down

The Scirocco reminds me of a panini-ed Golf. Sure its a little sleeker and "sophisticated" but its still just a grilled cheese sandwich.

@skyln95: I sold one on eBay a few years back for the buy it now price which was way over Kbb ... I guess you are not the only one looking

Why drive the ring in crap, if you're going to go slow might as well do it in style, top down, with a few fiends. A fitting choice would be a 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible, the pinnacle of Lincoln style.

@Matt Hardigree: Agreed but its the punters' choice. Real money would be on the G20t.

Nice list but I take issue with the SE-R. For the same money you can get an Infiniti G20t. It's got the same engine as the SE-R with a far better platform and equipment package - including limited slip. Plus the chances that the G20t was hooned are far far less.

Also for the gearhead with a family, my vote is on theNissan Quest / Mercury Villager.

1994/1995 Infiniti G20t.

Wrong in all the right ways.

@pauljones: i thought we were the cylons ...

@Ash78: agreed, the SUV loophole is a big one and I am surprised it hasn't been addressed either by insurance companies or plaintiffs attorneys
