I would like to see the schematic of the mia and tia twins.

The last decade has some terrible choices v. the early years. With hindsight the two Eagle Talons also seem particularly ridiculous. Can Renee and Julie get a second chance at selecting a new car?

I rented a Daewoo Matiz when I was in Rome a few years ago. Easily the worst car I've ever driven. Utterly lifeless. Within two hours I was back at Budget exchanging it for a Daewoo Lacetti. And yes, that would be the second worst I've ever driven.

Not a real Rolls. Volga in drag.

@zacarious: Sorry about the typos above ... rushing to post before lunch got me in trouble.

1 more for the road.

1st Gen. Isuzu Impulse (Piazza for the Euro crowd).

@Bueller: RWD it was but most of the important bits were pulled right out of the LH platform. They did the best they could but you can't make chicken soup out of chicken shit.

Plymouth Prowler. Silly then, silly now. All the "retro" hot rod body work can't hide the fact that its a Dodge Intrepid in drag - complete with a 4-speed automatic transmission. On second thought, is the Prowler even a sports car?

Pointing out the obvious: American

@Jagvar: I was just looking at these. How low can they go?

@64deville: Going way way back to the well. This was a great SNL commercial from the "big red" days. Also could not find video ... strange.

BMW has officially — seriously, for real this time — jumped the shark.

Volvo S80. Dreadfully dull on the outside. Surprisingly hot on the inside. Seriously.

@Desu-San-Desu: My first thought was also the Tribeca, rented one for a long December drive to Cleveland a few years back. The endless bleak and snowy PA miles dissolved a little bit quicker on that journey thanks to the Tribeca's nice cabin. The snow and grayness, however, did nothing for the Tribeca's exterior

@Desu-San-Desu: The roll start. #39 on the list of why manual transmissions rock.
