Matt how can you have a top 5 list of wagons and not have a Volvo?

no one's listed the S2000 its definitely a top 5 contender

@Jagvar: reminds me of the De Tomaso Deauville

@alfasud: did they ever function properly?

1. E28 M5

Solstice

Ray - not funny ... not funny at all.

Here's a new post idea - Jalopnik countdowns that are lame ... you can start the list with this one

@zacarious: speaking of Bruce ... I could use a Bossmobile and a gin and tonic right about now

@zacarious: speaking of Bruce ... I could use a Bossmobile and a gin and tonic right about now

Jeep Hurricane is another great concept car that should have seen the light of day - only if we lived in Bruce McCall's world

Solstice Coupe - the actual production car was so fundamentally flawed and so short lived it was like it was never here - just part of a bad dream where the government took over GM and then closed Pontiac and i was still a lawyer ... strange dream indeed

@stephdumas: I have made the same comment before ... love Vacation but I think the Truckster has some explaining to do

@Ash78: with Europe in mind this makes perfect sense but if this comes to the US Scion is the right destination ... a Lexus sporty hatchback will not only eat into Toyota and Scion, it will hurt Lexus' overall image

wouldn't this be better left for Scion?

the real question is why are some manufactures so scared of selling or marketing a true wagon? this website is a testament to the fact that people want and need good wagons, there are only so many Volvo and Subaru people can buy

depends on the circumstances
