It makes zero sense that they would make Firecracker a member of The Seven

Who are The Seven really for though? They and almost everything else in the world of The Boys bows at Homelander’s feet now. Homelander calls all the shots. He basically runs Vought now, has zero fear of the government, fears nothing and no one. He doesn’t need anyone’s help either, doesn’t need a team of superheroes.

You are absolutely correct. Maybe Sabina Graves got confused by all similar sounding names in the show.

That’s not an accurate representation of the book. This just reads like someone mad Team Green was made to look like villains, idiots, and assholes in this episode and not someone upset on how it differs from the book. The book definitely didn’t make it seem like Daemon was intentioned here, it was very much left in

To be honest, I thought it was a bit of a mess.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Helaena is Aegon’s wife and not Aemond’s.  She’s not married to both her brothers, is she?  I guess it’s not out of the question for Targaryens.

They were in the castle under the guise of being rat catchers, which while Cheese was, Blood was not. The dog was a working dog who was seen earlier in the episode working with Cheese to catch rats.

Do Poltergeist next. Lots of real tragedy and trumped up bullshit around that one.

Dogs were used to help catch the rats. It was part of their cover.

The rat catchers dog, was also in an earlier scene in the episode.

Yes. It was Viserys’ Valyria LEGO set.

It was a way to remind us of Aegon I’s prophecy.

Well, Cheese IS a rat catcher...he’s just pretending that’s why he’s there at that moment.

The dog tracks the rats (keener senses and all). They had to look like they were doing their Rat-Catching duties. That’s why they were carrying and laying out the rat traps!

I know they want to open up the world a bit (a common criticism from last season), but there was something awkward about starting at The Wall (with voice over that sounded an awful lot like Jon Snow). Not sure if it was the dialogue, or the performances, or how ‘clean’ the characters looked, or that it seemed forced

Can I just say the intro is waaaaay better now? I get the whole bloodlines angle last season but it was fairly bland. This? They went with a semi Baylax Tapestry kinda look and I’m a real sucker for that.

My gf calls him “Not-Shia Lebeuff"

Rat catchers use dogs to, you know, catch rats.

They’re pretending to be rat catchers, and the dog is part of that.

Setting aside Criston’s…considerable list of flaws, he’s hot and is devoted to Alicent. Not the unhealthiest relationship on this show, and not a bad pick on Alicent’s part.
