Right? Canadian here so not entirely up-to-snuff on the impeachment process, but removing Trump would have Pence in power, yes? Which from what I can see could be worse, but he also seems milquetoasty...

Oh my god yes. He made that show.

I actually fucking love the burpy bibs. For the first 6 months of her life I went nowhere without one draped on my shoulder. Other burp cloths just aren’t the same.

Wait really? Canadian here who has never met another Canadian younger than 70 who is disappointed with the shift to metric. It’s sooo much easier.

Truth. I have nothing else to add, you’ve summed it up perfectly.

They’re in, they’re out, they’re all about! They’re far, they’re near. they’re gone, they’re here!

Also - People used to bump into my belly all the time. It hasn’t really changed as now they bump into my baby in the carrier. Though since she’s 10 months she’s starting to retaliate by grabbing people who get too close and yanking on their clothing really hard.

Wait, what? I didn’t realize we needed to coordinate our activewear. I just have a bunch of shit from random places that I’m 99% sure is all off-brand.

Where is the love?

How is this gif a thing?

Oh god... my 8 month old’s upper-central incisors have just pierced through the gum and it’s been an absolutely ridiculous week. Her bottoms were no problem at all so I wasn’t expecting this. So much boob, so much nipple scraping. Solidarity in celebratory nights!

Seriously... I was definitely thinking it was going to be related to Black Lives Matter pride sit-in, but he’s just crazy on so many levels I don’t even know anymore.

Well, anecdotally there is at least one... that said I drilled and hammered shit into my rented walls all the time. Polyfilla it when you leave.

Same. I was born in the early 80s. All of my friends have secured their furniture to the wall and now that my 7 month old is just starting to crawl, we are doing it as well. I’m always surprised when I hear that people with children don’t do it. I can see the benefit of being able to move items easily, but benefit

Yeah, you need to jump on these things. It’s ridiculous how quickly they fill up in a decent-sized city.

It really depends on the groups you find. I found a local area “moms” group where they verify who you are before you can join and it’s closed so you don’t get creepers. They post a bunch of events per week and you can pick and choose what interests you (walks, coffee shops, park days, etc...). I was hesitant to join,

Meetup has been fantastic for me. As well as just finding random “Mom Events” at places I find interesting. I met a great group through one of the museums in the city. They have a “mom and baby” tour group.
