The only thing that saved pedestrians below my window in the East Village from being crushed to death was the fire escape! If I still lived in NYC I’d get that in a heartbeat. (Well, maybe two, after turning a few extra tricks to pay for the thing.)

Thanks for posting that article. Fascinating! All my buddies (who were all smarter than me) in the Bay Area were talking about Hypercard, and I still didn’t have a “personal computer” yet!

Fun! Like one of the first EPKs, really.

[crude] Google and The White House - just sucking each other’s dick.[/crude]

“apply”? Like makeup? And hopefully the dropped apostrophe at the end of “Jesus” is their screw-up. (Although if it’s yours, it’s still funny!)

A simple [/satire] tag would have sufficed.   :)

I’ve either traveled for work or worked from home practically all my life, and I agree with almost everything, except:

Alien 1: Helllooo... anybody here? We came as soon as we heard your distress call... (to Alien 2) Ah shit, I guess we’re too late. Let’s get outta here.

Always hated that stupid blue-and-white extreme checkerboard closeup logo anyway, even when I had a Z4, 328 and 435. Why put a color at all?

You say that like it’s a good thing.

Nice Spock quote!

Whew, I thought it was just me...

Straight outta that movie Robots!

The funny thing is I read this headline right after reading Morning Shift, so at first thought “Death Drive” was some secret, dark automotive event.

It seems to be d) All of the above.

That’s exactly the sound most people are going to make when they hear it.

Hysterical ad - sounds like Sam Elliot doing the voiceover!

Omg, I gotta bunch of great belly laughs!

Promising. The lines are pretty cool from a lot of angles. And it’s a great concept allowing a realistic use of an electric. Also great that someone decided to actually care about the acceleration curve a bit, instead of going with trying to be literal with the term “breakneck”.

ah, they’ll always get you on the comeback.
