How do you feel about “sammich?”
How do you feel about “sammich?”
We had a place (used to be a food truck) that did basically just grilled cheese sandwiches. For $12. I think that came with a handful of chips.
First, who calls them “Sandos”? Sammy, yeah...but Sando? Ugh. It is not gonna be your signature madeup word.
All the Home Improvement kid actors had names that sound like 19th century presidents.
Some people genuinely would rather not have to go further than their front door (possibly not even seeing a person) but also want more than just pizza or Chinese. It’s not great for the places having to fill them and even for the workers, but the customer doesn’t care.
I’ve never quite understood how people keep using these services. You pay $25 for what would cost you $12 at the restaurant (to eat in or pick up yourself), and then you get to eat it cold. It also always seemed shady to me that when you order through some of these services, that they change the prices for the food in…
While, I know not all criminals are smart, I would think doing them in a concentrated area or possibly in your own hometown would be a risky move. Especially when you realize there are traffic cameras at most intersections, they may start watching for trends.
It might be that the person placing the orders wants to observe that the delivery happens, further indicating that the card is good to go.
Trying to figure out the logic of having it all just be in Highland Park rather than a wider area of LA (or the state or the country) if it’s supposed to be testing for the cards being active. Then, if a bunch of people are reporting fraudulent charges it will potentially trace back to a single location.
I called family first that’s why it almost got violent. I wasn’t about to throw hands with 14 plus people alone. One of the hostess told my manager that the party was getting belligerent and that I had called family. When I was younger I was a hot head. Tbh, I was a violent person. I hate violence now. And yes the…
Right.
I would like to know where this restaurant is (more specific than Ohio) just to make sure I never go near it. The manager should have put these people out the minute the first slur came out.
Management does not give one fuck about labor. When I was in the service industry I saw managers allow worse shit than this. Even physicial. All that matters is money.
I was a server (20 years ago) at a red lobster. I was in a similar situation. My situation nearly got physical. You wanna know how it got resolved. To the point that my cousins, brothers, and friends already got the flip phone call and were on their way. My Hispanic manager and black female assistant manager had them…
Agreed. I blame them the most for what this service person HAD to deal with. They were fully aware of what happening and thought the $ was more important than the piece of mind of their employee.
Just north of Cincinnati was a big KKK area. (Or probably still is.) Much like you don’t think about the rural around Disney, you don’t think about the area around Kings Island when you’re there.
The manager should have kicked them out once they started being dicks. Even if they hadn't been shouting slurs, an employee shouldn't have to deal with that abuse.
Thank you! Love them hash browns crispy
Late to the comments but your potatoes look spot on.
Also, no “throat lube.” That could be provided by sautéed onions/peppers, or some kind of breakfast gravy/pan sauce if you really wanted to complete the food coma. Something so one doesn’t choke while eating this.
