Stupid car designed by a complete hack, I wouldn’t take it if you gave it to me. Go ahead, test me. Give me one and you’ll see. Just go ahead and give me the keys and walk away. I won’t drive it. I mean, the only way to know for sure it so drop one in my driveway, so go ahead. I don’t even care what color you give me,

As a kid I had a Countach and Testarossa posters on my wall sandwiching a Motley Crue poster. I am of course older now but a rock star in a Lamborghini seems pretty lame now. Maturity changes your tastes and that is largely positive, but I can’t help but think there’s a larger cultural shift happening where hypercars

  • EVs are more eco-friendly. Even if your electricity is generated 100% by coal/natural gas it’s still better for the environment due to increased efficiency with a larger turbine generating the energy vs a tiny one in an ICE. on top of that because electricity is agnostic you can charge it anywhere without needing to

Give it another couple years

There are some few exceptions to your rule (Pagani Huayra, Koenigsegg), but I definitely concur with the overall sentiment.

The cars are a symptom of technological advances in the framework of a capitalist market. Same reason every maker has half a dozen crossover things that look 90% the same (of course...they all had boxy sedans that all looked the same 60 years ago.)
