That is the standard sound of the klaxon siren, It is common on many if not most fire trucks in the U.S. It once was common on most U.S. ambulances and police vehicles. It was also common throughout Europe prior to WW2. During the war, the klaxons were used as air raid sirens, especially in Britain, so the sound had a

You basically described my typical weekend attire. But I live in the midwest

I heard they were going to stage some of the track through a pretend abandoned Sears full of belligerent homeless dudes but they were worried that visibility to the cars would be poor. “THIS ISN’T EVEN A REAL TREE!!! DID YOU KNOW THAT! WHAT A GARBAGE ATTACTION!”

Google for a reset button; Mrs. PunkRocks’ Mini Cooper had same issue, until I figured out how to reset ( button between the seats near e-brake )

Is there a spare? I went weeks checking my tire pressures to later realize it was the spare that was low. Similar problem, having an extra set of wheels nearby in the garage and recalibrating the TPMS.

Yup finding a base automatic RSX would be a good way to buy a less desirable (by enthusiasts) variant.  Good way to avoid the syncho issues that sometimes plagued that era of Honda manual.

15k for Exocet? Its not just the assembly time, its ALL the other things to put it together. Yeah the basic frame/donor car maybe 15, but tires/wheels/paint/etc etc etc etc. Typical estimate is 50% more then the cost to get into the project, so another 7500, maybe 5k on a shoe string budget.

There’s no way you find a running six speed LS F-body for under $15k. A clean example was $20k pre pandemic. The tremec transmissions alone are worth thousands.

Yea its the same here. But by that time you may as well spring the few hundred bucks extra and go for the Si.

I still (also) maintain that an Apple-branded vehicle will never see the road - rather, they’ll optimize and license car technologies like safety sensors, dashboard/speedo interfaces, driving automation, etc. Even with a partner like Hyundai or Kia (e.g.) it makes more sense for Apple software to power the infotainment

Yeah, not all of California is LA or San Francisco. Traffic on California’s central coast is relatively light except around a few of the bigger towns, and even then only around rush hour. (Oh, and around Pismo Beach. I can’t explain the Pismo Beach Traffic Vortex.) And there are some lovely roads. The kinds of roads
