False. Have you any idea how much space a rear facing child safety seat requires? Have you any idea how much space a stroller requires? A GTI works if the driver is pint size and the parents never hope to haul luggage or groceries along with their stroller.

I absolutely love my Fit, but quiet it is not. Not that you’re suggesting one for our guy.

Enough, my wife is 5'8 and it is perfectly fine with a rear facing. Not that much, just don’t buy a gigantic stroller, you don’t need one. Why would you get the hassle to bring your baby to the grocery store when they are that little or even bring the stroller to the store when he is a toddler? You would keep enjoying

You are likely to be disappointed in our chocolate and healthcare,”

I just hate lazy US bashing, especially when it’s nominally to a new resident. “Hey, sorry you’re moving here, it sucks!”

In fairness, they did add lightness. By putting a battery so small in it that it only has about 60 miles of operating range.

As much as I agree with you, if selling an SUV allows them to survive/make better cars, I will reluctantly accept it (not that they care what I think). Lotus are no stranger to SUVs, they just worked on other people’s previously:

If you make it easy for people to do the wrong thing, more people will do the wrong thing. If you could magically achieve 100% accountability, it would still cost you a great deal more money, time, and dead people than it would just to not put a gun in everyone’s hands in the first place.

I think the porschephiles are glad the Cayenne exists so they can keep cranking out Caymans and 911s. Personally, I would be happy to have Lotus make more SUVs and grow. The problem of Lotus isn’t making a great car, it’s the lack of infrastructure/dealer network/build quality issues. That was my Lotus problem anyway.

Lotus Carlton, but lifted and with a hatchback.

You don’t know how this works, do you? Manufacturers don’t see a penny of the markups.

Hes young, the world is ending, he can spend some money. He can easily max out his 401k and still be pulling in ~2200/check on a 26 check/year cycle.

I can’t believe no one said ‘Rover’ yet....

Yeah, I expected “Is good” to be followed by “hides body, yes?”

I rented a car in France years ago and they ran out of the compact I was supposed to get, so they put me in a Mercedes S. I literally had to throw wheels up on the curb in some of the little towns I drove through, including the street in front of my hotel.

As a dealership:

Get out of here with your well thought out idea.

If you’re the type of person who reads the fine print perhaps you don’t deserve to own a Tesla.

I do wonder on this. I don’t disagree with the core point at all, but I wonder if we’re missing a point too. You’re right - I’m the FnF crowd (I was late in high school when that came out), and about to hit 40... and I know my next car will be my last new ICE purchase. I currently drive a M550, and it’s the best “car”

Its the Corolla all trac of the 21st century.
