Right?  The fact that this isn’t considered “overboard with the aggro” is a testament to just how aggressive modern truck design has become.  This taco looks like it wants to rip heads off.

Honestly, police cars - and frankly municipal vehicles of all sorts, seem ideally suited for conversion to EVs. They should all have easy access to charging infrastructure every night (and throughout the day) and they almost certainly aren’t going to be putting in hundreds of miles of distance every day.

So it’s in keeping with the ongoing trend of: bigger, taller, more expensive, more powerful, and angrier?

Yep, the Fit has got to be a finalist here. The amount of useable space they managed to find in an efficient, cheap, and small vehicle is incredible.  That they also managed to make it decently fun car to drive (particularly in manual transmission guise) was the icing on the cake.  So obviously they stopped importing

Things that need to die: over the top online outrage over the most trivial, ridiculous, and absurd things - like the format of a free online blog about cars.

You know, just because people acted like violent idiots in the past, doesn’t necessary mean we have to keep encouraging it in the future.

It’s not ‘protest’ - it’s idiocy that puts other people at risk under the guise of self-righteousness and ego - and powered by significant unearned wealth.

I’ve come around on e-bikes. I used to be one of those annoying, preening, ‘purists’ that would do things like slap my quads and proclaim “this is all the motor I need”.

Yep - a few times. I’m not sure what you’re looking for though. What’s special about it, is it’s history. The tours and exhibits highlight that history and make it accessible. It’s effectively half a museum ship and half a hotel - which is about as close to living history as you can get.

Completely agree - after the Queen Mary, the United States is probably my favorite liner and it’s a shame how it’s fallen into complete disrepair. My own feeling is that the QM is probably still the more significant ship - even from the perspective of American history, but the SSUS is as much a monument to American

It certainly sounds like they’ve reached a workable arrangement, at least now.

It’s an incredibly important piece of history and has the possibility of generating huge revenue for the City. If there is (and it seems clear that this is the case) any opportunity to preserve it, they absolutely need to.

And then you remember that the Civic Type-R is apparently a few grand cheaper than the average new car cost in the US... and your world view, already in turmoil, takes a final, completely unrecoverable, hit.

Or, because there’s a critical shortage of bees as it is, their increasingly becoming endangered and they are absolutely essential if we want to continue - you know - growing food to eat.

I agree, and to be frank, I’ve really tried to avoid that kind of news, and I’ve found that when I’m successful, I’m much happier.

Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?

I wouldn’t say ‘ruined’ - but it is a step back, design wise.

That’s no kid... that’s an adult.

I have, and I still don’t think they deserve to be murdered. That would make me a psychopath.
