I just have one question:
I just have one question:
And, of course, that average cost isn’t going to include the increased interest rates people will be locking themselves into when they finance for 5 or 6 years. Real world, out the door, all is said and done, cost to own the average car (not including insurance, maintenance, gas, etc.) is probably going to be close to…
25 years ago is effectively when I was really into cars. Those high-school to undergrad years when you could still dream about the car you’d buy when you had real money, and limited financial sense. Before reality, in other words, pulled a Lucy to your Charlie Brown of a world view. You’d think this would make it easy…
I’m half surprised the NRA hasn’t challenged those laws as being contrary to the 2nd amendment.
It’s impossible for me to leave them unsecured in my car. My guns are always firmly secured to my shoulders.
Damn, I’m 100% behind the ruling, but even I raised my eyebrows a bit at the amount. Good for the court.
I’d be curious if they’ve found a way to increase it’s luggage capacity. I was very close to going with the current generation Prius Prime a couple of years ago. I instead went with a Honda Civic Hatch, because it seemed like a much more useable design. I suspect that this largely had to do with the size of the Prius…
You’re asking for a car so I’m ruling out boats (we live near a dock and I work near a dock), bikes (I currently commute by bike), and planes (because that’s ridiculous).
This would make mutinies much more challenging.
wow - I’m actually a little shocked, and feeling a lot privileged, looking at those bike lanes and comparing them to what I have to deal with. Here there are lights, and signs and crosswalks... no, not everything is like these pictures - lots of bike lanes are wide, but unprotected, and plenty of intersections are…
The problem is, it would require a lot of cost and infrastructure for a city to adapt to a relatively low number of bike riders.
E-bikes are practical, useful, tools that actually help people get around Cities cleanly, efficiently, and reliably. They reduce traffic congestion, reduce pollution and keep people healthier. I get the overwhelming desire to have the hottest take in the comments - but this one is so far off base that it comes off as…
We went with the Urban Arrow Family - and we love it. Our initial thinking was to go with a trike - because of its better perceived stability - but after riding them both, we found the two wheelers to be preferable in terms of rideability, maneuverability, width (the trikes consumed the whole bike lane) and high speed …
Depends. Try hauling 100+ lbs of weight in a regular bike. We picked up an E-Cargo bike a month ago and it has legitimately replaced our car for 90% of our daily errands. Wouldn’t be possible without electrification.
You’re telling me that Chevy would settle for one CUV-EV with a storied nameplate when they could have two?
Oh it’s going to be a Cross-over. They want some of that sweet, sweet, Mach-E market share.
I mean this is all sort of ‘what-if-ing’ it right? They’re pricy, but I wouldn’t be averse to buying a used one if they were available here. Plus it’s tough to say what the purchase price will be in North America based on what things are selling for in Europe.
The VW California Camper van. I grew up with the original Eurovan in the early 90s, and it was pretty much the perfect vehicle for family road trips. Incredibly cool to sleep up top and with a fridge, water tank, and stove a place you could reliably live as you travelled the continent. Recreating those old memories…
I always felt that the Clubman died, spiritually at least, when they did away with the single rear suicide door (so the second generation). That first generation design was a cool, small, unique vehicle that provided a more useful take on the traditional Mini without becoming too big.
Yep. Buddy of mine works in the banking industry - so along side people smack dab in the upper-middle class / nearly rich set. You could not be seen to be driving anything other than the newest model of a luxury sedan. And whether you sent the 3/C/A4 route, the 5/E/A6 route of the 7/S/A8 route said a lot about where…
