It’s the absurdity of the ‘us-vs-them’ culture war bullshit that pervades everything in America (and increasingly Canada).

This is exactly the way they do it where I live, and bike commute. And honestly, I prefer it as both a cyclist (obviously) and a driver. It lets everyone know exactly where bikes will be, and where they won’t be.

How do you know I have less experience? I’m making short comments on an internet board about my personal experiences in winter driving. I’m not as invested in getting the last word on the internet.  If people think I’m wrong, they can ignore me. If they think I’m right, or have similar experiences, they can agree.
