Wait. How does this sale even work?
I’m not sure what’s missing here. This is a high level statement from the Executive branch. What else did you expect it to contain? If the EPA and Transportation conduct no investigations and fail to bring enforcement action - then I’ll be disappointed. But that will take time.
Do in laws count? Mine are great in almost every respect - I have very little to complain about - they’re kind, considerate, welcoming people. But when I’m driving with my FIL it pushes me to the brink of madness. And a little beyond.
I think most people accept that. They have their problems, but most of them have to do with their dear leader. And not just with his personality, but also with his insistence on continuing to push lunacy like “full self driving” - which not only doesn’t exist, but currently seems further from reality than it ever was.
If you genuinely think that someone should be compared to Heinrich Himmler - the architect of the holocaust, and a man personally responsible for the slaughter of millions of lives - because they have a position that you disagree with on fundamental moral principles. You need help. And quickly. Because this kind of…
And sail boats are, inherently far more aesthetically pleasing. This has design traits of the last days of sail - with massive clipper ships and 2, 3, or 4 masted Schooners perfecting the ability of man to harness the wind for power.
Still not making any sense. I’m sorry your original comment sucked. No amount of “rolls eyes” smilies can save you.
Have you taken an art history course, ever, in your life? Quit the moralizing and respond to my actual comment.
Nonsense, it’s a gorgeous vessel. If we wrote off all great works of art and design because they were commissioned by assholes, we’d have very little left.
What would you consider to be an exciting vessel? This is 1000 X more beautiful and interesting then the cookie-cutter super yachts that most billionaires buy.
Then what are you saying? Seems like you said you wanted to blow up the ship. Well, the ship is crewed by ordinary people. And if you sink it, it also hurts the environment. So... what exactly are you doing here?
Did you just call someone Himmler - the architect of the holocaust - because they admit to being tired the constant barrage of outrage?
It’s funny, because despite the use of the photo to demonstrate what you don’t like about the car - I actually find that one of the nicest looking shots of the Mondial that I’ve seen. And not too dissimilar from the profiles of other mid-engined Ferraris like the 348 or 355 - just obviously stretched a touch to…
And I’m tired of hearing about the demands of drivers that we share the road (with) when I see several incidents a day of drivers blatantly ignoring traffic laws - running stop signs, doing well faster than the speed limit, tail gating, cutting off other cars, bikes and pedestrians, driving and parking in bike lanes,…
It’s the absurdity of the ‘us-vs-them’ culture war bullshit that pervades everything in America (and increasingly Canada).
This is exactly the way they do it where I live, and bike commute. And honestly, I prefer it as both a cyclist (obviously) and a driver. It lets everyone know exactly where bikes will be, and where they won’t be.
Not really actually. I just enjoy pointing out how often sad attempts to look hard and edgy on the internet coincide with a nearly complete inability to articulate thoughts.
How do you know I have less experience? I’m making short comments on an internet board about my personal experiences in winter driving. I’m not as invested in getting the last word on the internet. If people think I’m wrong, they can ignore me. If they think I’m right, or have similar experiences, they can agree.
This doesn’t even make any damn sense. What are you trying to convey? Are you just so excited at the prospect of being a complete dipshit, that your pea-brain can’t even structure an intelligible sentence quickly enough?
Thanks for all that wonderful advice - but you’re making an awful lot of assumptions about my experience and training. Ultimately, I’ve driven my way through all sorts of slick, wintery, icy conditions safely for decades in all sorts of cars. I’ve never once had a problem slowing down slowly on ice using a manual…
