Heh...back in my Navy days; some fellow Sailors and I were at a bar-bar. We were swearing, as Sailors do, and a dude who had his kid with him said something about our language because there was a kid present.

We all told him to fuck off with the language requests, at a bar, where his kid shouldn’t be in the first place.

The easy answer to this:

If the bar’s food menu has a “kids menu” section: Kids are okay.
If it doesn’t, it’s not a place intended for kids.

Oh, and, if the place’s website advertises it as “family friendly” then it’s also okay. Otherwise, no.

The kid looks perpetually stoned...

Then again, most of us have been in a confused haze since his dad’s election so......

I was watching a documentary on the Concord a couple weeks back and as a sidenote to your capitalism commentary: Flights from New York to LA are *slower / longer* now than the were in the 70's.

If, in Windows, you can also plug it in, check drive manager, and if it sees it at all in drive manager; just try to assign a drive letter.

I had an issue with this and it was the *dumbest* thing...

My Win10 PC “preferred” listing my particular USB drive as “F:”

That said, I’d recently mapped a network drive as “F:” so whenever I’d plug in my USB...it wouldn’t connect. (Apparently Win10 wasn’t smart enough to just give it a different damn letter.)
