@typica1cat: Light is light. The solar panels are only using the photons that hit the surface. Light directly from the sun definitely works better, but flourescent and incandescent bulbs can both power this keyboard, much like your grade-school calculator.

Why do companies keep messing with the "enter" key and the "backslash" key. Just leave them alone. Leave the vertical bar above the enter key. You'd think we could've standardized this after 20+ years of tampering.
