Oh... Wait... It's apparently only available in U.S.A.. Fuck my life. Fuck everything.

Badly, yes.  As it is right now, if someone replies to your comment, you have to sort through ALL  the comments of an article to find it because Kinja no longer takes you directly there.

So glad to have you back :)

What a thoughtful way to kick off what I’m sure will be a wonderful tenure. Kotaku, like the industry it covers, needs to continually evolve. I can’t think of a better person to lead that change than you Patricia. I look forward to seeing where you take the site.

Welcome back!

There are just all these little things that make me bang my head against a wall. The horrible stamina circle—you’re a legendary warrior, Link! you can sprint a little bit without getting winded!—, the cooking mechanic is fine but could use a cook-book, the stress of having every single one of my weapons break after

Am I the only one thinking of all the waste this kind of stuff generates? It’s weird, but all I see is a product people will buy just for kicks, will try 30 minutes at best before realizing they could play the game on much better screens, with better controls and ergonomics. And even if you finish the games, it still

I think a terrific compromise would be a system where monster drops can be used to repair weapons, and that killing a monster by breaking a weapon on it gives more drops.

Man, can you think of anything more Nintendo?

Agreed. I don’t need multiple towns/lived-in spaces on the scale of a huge JRPG but it would be nice if they could make it feel less... lonely? I’m also very much hoping for full dungeons this time around and a better variety in boss battles.

I am disappointed that this is the ultimate release for Zelda’s 35th. Why no other rereleases?! the time is ripe for remasters of the OG 3D Zeldas!

I have until 2022 to give BotW a second chance. I can do this. I will love this game, damn it.

So this is the switch pro?

Hopefully the weapons in BOTW2 are more durable. Or at least give the option to repair them.

Did they just make Zelda the “Damsel in distress” once again?

Hopefully the garbage weapon durability doesnt exist or they overhaul it completely. Would also like to see dungeons that are unique from each other instead of using the same textures. I don't have high expectations for this game.

I loved BoTW, only hope this one makes Hyrule feel a little less barren and lifeless at time.
