I don’t see the problem with it but oh well just because I don’t find it offensive doesn’t mean it isn’t or someone won’t find it offensive.
The characters weren’t created unintentionally. The fact that they’re acting on it quickly is nice though.
Wow, I’m amazed. There really ARE people who can’t grasp the “stereotypes are bad” concept. Impressive.
I’d like to see their reference material and moodboards for the character design... that’ll say more about their intent.
I’m pretty sure it’s just a games showcase, though it’s possible they will show the actual console. Price and release date will be a separate event, sometime in July.
curious is this just a console thing or will there be some games discussed?
i think it’s just a games reveal not a ps5 reveal
This headline is kinda bad, since this is being marketed as a games reveal and not necessarily as a console reveal. We don’t know that they’ll be showing the box.
I feel like if it was a proper console reveal, it would say so, instead of just talking about “The future of gaming,” whatever that means.
Yeah, that’s what I’m confused on as well.
I'm equally excited and prepared for disappointment.
I’m mostly interested in the shape of the case. If it looks like that horseshoe design someone floated months ago, I will be quite surprised.
So... little confused. Is this just to show off the games or the actual PS5, or both? I know before it was delayed, the talk around the event was that it was just to show off game titles.
He’s right though.
For an entire day, they should turn every character black and have a constant one star police rating that never goes away.
Sorry to nitpick, but we are currently on EDT due to daylight savings. EDT is -4 UTC, while EST is -5. Rockstar simply said ET, or eastern time.
You say this, but I guarantee you the GTA online subreddit is going to go into meltdown over this. That will get people talking. And hopefully, hopefully, they’ll do some research into what’s happening.
This is for anyone that is angrier about not being able to play a video game for 2 hours than they are about what is and has been going on in this country. That’s 2 hours they could use to stop and reflect and ask themselves that very question.
I admit, for a cynic like me who has endured the systemic racism for more than 30 years, seeing major companies actually acknowledge the tragedy and hold events to spread the message is warming.
