I thought they were referring to Lin
NO BUT SERIOUSLY WHAT IS THAT USHER DOING/SAYING?!
Sorry, I read it as "let you park." You're right that free parking is available, but if more than 2% of people knew about it/took advantage of it, it wouldn't be available anymore. And public transportation just isn't a realistic option on weeknights for anyone who lives north or west of the city.
Only if a team has a chance to win. I'll still watch all the Lions games, but I'll be god damned if I give that fucking franchise any additional money until they give me a product worth paying for.
Nobody goes to games to see the Cubs. Half the stadium is getting as drunk as possible and the other half are fans of other teams coming in from out of town to see Wrigley Field.
this...the only people who think bandwagon fans are bad are the "holier than thou" fans who think their version of fandom is the be all and end all of being a fan.
Yea! Look at them loser bandwagon fans! They only want to go to a game when the team is entertaining. Real fans will gladly hand over cash to a billion dollar business no matter how bad the team is. Mike Myers hasn't made a good movie since the first Austin Powers. But that didn't stop me from seeing The Love Guru…
Not for nothing, but every time DS does a "Vin Scully telling a story while never interrupting his call of the game" post, it makes me wish I lived in LA so I could watch him more often.
Reverend: Donald thank you for joining us. Take a seat wherever you like.
Yeah, I actually watched the entire video still waiting for the long pause, not knowing the negligible maybe 2 seconds at the beginning that literally didn't take longer than any other player I've ever seen taking his time to deliberately respond to a post-game question. If you're counting in media time I'm sure it…
Deadspin: where a two-second pause is turned into pageview bait. What is this, Barstool?
I say this as a Hawks fan, I think the Chicago crowd is a bit weak, I think the ticket prices and winning have priced out the loud, true fans.
THIS IS JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE PUSSIFICATION OF AMERICA. YOU DON'T SEE GREG SCHIANO STAYING HOME SO HE CAN CARE FOR HIS WIFE, TERRI. AND SHE'S IN A DAMN COMA! SMH!1!
"You haven't heard our side of the story yet," responded a Dolphins spokesperson, "we really fucking hate people with cystic fibrosis."
Louie's playing with language and societal expectations, both of him and of the populace at large. I'm sure you get that already but still want to hang on to your indignant anger, as do most people. Fight the temptation; there's something bigger going on.
I suppose, but how incredible is it for a team with The second most points this season, who took 4 out of 5 from the Kings during the regular season, lost game 1 at the last second, to win three in row? It's impressive, but hardly incredible.
Incredible?
