Good to know that senseless lesbian death is okay when the character is black but not okay when she’s white. Seriously fuck this show. White people do not have a right to have POC say half the things that were said and they don’t have the right to sensationalize black deaths.

The fact that they killed Poussey really pisses me off. There can’t be that many white people watching the show that need to be taught a lesson on black deaths by the police at the expense of actual black people. And making the “nice” guard do it made it feel extra cheap.

What makes the season doubly frustrating and meta is the realization that all this was written by a crew of predominantly white writers, albeit women.
