I drive a crossover, not by choice, but because my father’s last car was a crossover and it’s been relegated to kids’ car duty. Our 2007 b9 Tribeca gets awful city mileage (I’ve been averaging just 16mpg going to and from school with warmup time), but other than that, it drives like a car, without the body roll of

A student at my school gets dropped off and picked up in one of these, so I’ve seen it many times. This car just does not have the presence of an $80,000 vehicle, and it definitely doesn’t look new. I hadn’t given it much thought until reading this, because I figured it was a few years old and only a little more

Hi, queer person here. Yes, it really would be a problem. Last time I checked, Trump supporters weren't a minority group that have historically been oppressed, so your comparison doesn't hold up.

I kind of love this thing. I personally wouldn't drive a stanced car unless it was a) built for drifting, necessitating some camber, or b) on bags, but the sheer absurdity of some of these builds is really fun to me.

As Mr Tracy is known for being thrifty to a fault, I would suggest that he take the easiest (and likely cheapest) route to a Ferrari-derived engine swap-the 4.2l m139 from the Maserati Quattroporte. A complete engine goes for between three and five thousand dollars on eBay, but I’m sure he could scour local junkyards

Usually I’m all for the styling of super- and hypercars, and I really like the way the various Ageras look, but something about the Jesko just doesn’t work for me. The headlights look squinted, and the rear end, aside from not really matching the wing, looks like they took the Agera, mixed in a bit of Porsche, and

I should preface this by noting that I’m a teen who doesn’t really know a whole lot.

Personally, I think this treatment would work better on the S or 3. The Model Y can't really be fixed without throwing out the current design entirely, imo

I would say it has more to do with displacement per cylinder. For gas engines, I'd say it's like this: Less than 250cc - small. 250-500cc - medium. 500-750cc - large. 750cc-1L - huge. 1L+ absurd.

One of the dads in my scout troop had a Ramcharger, and he seems to have fond memories of it. His favorite story about that truck is when he broke the rear driveshaft and, instead of taking it to a shop or fixing it, he just threw the thing in 4wd and had a front-wheel-drive truck for a few months.

I should also mention that the thing didn’t have any kind of restraint for the driver, and the throttle had exactly the wrong amount of actuation, going from idle to full throttle with what was probably just over a centimeter of travel

I took a shop class last summer, which was ostensibly called Diesel Mechanics, and one of the projects we ended up doing was putting an 800cc bike engine on a small, basic go-cart. It worked with the mounting holes, and the centrifugal clutch and chain assembly, so it wasn’t too difficult to put together. It had a

It’s not nearly as bad as some of the other entries here, but I’ve done one thing that easily qualifies as the most embarrassing. I showed up to school early one day early in the winter, and saw thatthe parking lot was empty. So I decided to put my 2007 Subaru b9 Tribeca in first, turn off traction control, and

Lotus makes an SUV, but because they’re Lotus, it only weighs 3,000 lbs, has a manual transmission standard, and isn’t great at SUV things. They will sell roughly seven of them.

There’s a surprisingly good selection on my local CL.

Before the olds chime in with their opinions on drifting "ruining" the sacred act of turning left a few hundred times, I'll say that a crossover between NASCAR and FD would be absolutely fantastic, and perhaps the only way to get me to watch NASCAR.

This thing just screams "remove the body panels, cage it, and make a cheap track cart" to me.

I’m a sophomore in high school, and have lived in Anchorage my whole life. This is one of the largest quakes I’ve been in, and there has been some damage, but it’s mostly things falling of of shelves and such. There were some glasses and dishes broken at my house, and my dog was terrified, but overall, the city is

I’m no expert, but I’ll answer what I can.

So, because I never properly answered the question: I recovered by going about my business as usual, because the only accidents I’ve been involved in occurred before I was able to drive.
