I’m going to start calling “Champagne problems” “LaCroix problems”, from now on.

I guess I’m surprised that he has a modicum of self-awareness to realize what a chump he looks like? And I almost pity him but I don’t because fuck that guy, and the mouthbreathers who voted for him because he talked tough. He’s grovelling on the phone! But sure, deals or whatever.
The director of an Australian thinktank has had some splendid words to say about Trump. (It should be remembered that Australia has been a strong ally of the US and has sent its troops into several conflicts alongside America, so to piss them off is a) not a good idea, and b) really, really hard).
His complaining after realizing there’s nothing he can do about the Australia deal is amazing. He literally sounds like a petulant teen.
In the same vein, he keeps whining to both these other leaders about how bad everything will make him look, like that’s what, their problem? Especially in the case of Peña Nieto, I can’t imagine a person on earth with more right to be uninterested in Trump’s self-made image problem.
This is one of the less awful but still pretty awful aspects of his presidency. It’s not just that he’s a fuck up, it’s that he insists on being personally involved in this stuff and is embarassing the whole country in front of other leaders. Asking the President of Mexico to pretend like he might pay for the wall…
I’m sure there’s some German word for what I’m feeling.
Right? His followers are so invested in the macho man figure they think he cuts, but he’s just a sniveling little turd.
So weird. He tells Turnbull that he (Turnbull) made a bad deal and then all he can do is complain about how the deal was great for Australia but bad for Trump. It is like he thinks he deserves takebacks for a deal that Obama brokered.
Yup its men, all the way up and down the class syste. All the way left and right through entire socities and cultures. The sooner women realise it, the sooner we will have change.
It’s also blue collar workers and guys who wear turtlenecks. Actually, it’s pretty much men. (Will dismiss trolls without hesitation)
The ACLU’s resistance to Trump has been brilliant not just substantively (and it has undoubtedly been substantively brilliant) but also symbolically. They have just been so consistently good at packaging their resistance in a way that makes people sit up and notice.
This goes for every industry. I’ve known partners who sexually harassed STUDENTS allowed to quietly leave the firm with great recommendations and their entire book of business, so they can go down the street and harass students at the next office. Repeat ad nauseum.
Good to know. It’s going to get damaged (with a lot of barf).
We’re going to need a bigger bag.
The dude apparently rarely smiles and never laughs. He’s a miserable old fuck.
I’ve always been in the grays on Jez. I’m only approved over on Splinter.
NOPE! Perfectly reasonable. I also clean a place, even if it was made spotless by the previous resident.
