So you should do some research ahead of time on what car you are looking for and what you can afford. Let’s say you are shopping for a Civic EX. When they say “How much do you want to pay per month?” Just answer with, “Right now I’m concerned with who is going to give me the best price on a Civic EX.”

I think for $40k I could take a nice trip to Europe, find one, import it and still have a little left over, plus I’ll have had a trip to Europe.

That sounds objectively awful. Like, “I need a career/country change” awful.

“issued a $164 ticket with four points put on his license for failing to do so” Funny, that’s almost exactly the points and fine I had to pay for speeding 12 over the limit, despite the fact there was very little danger to myself or anyone else at the time. Seems like either my penalty was too harsh, or blasting

I have never understood why an expired license is not accepted for identification purposes. You do not stop being the person you were when you were issued the then-valid license because of an expiration date. (Not arguing with your point - you're right that you need a valid one. I just don't understand the logic).

Here, have Halle Berry as an apology for “original” Skyline Chili. *shudder*

Sorry, The Rock rebuffs that comment.

I tend to disagree. Do they have a good, realistic plot? Helllllllll naw.

I think what you mean is where is the ‘resting’ position (neutral is anywhere along the middle). In which case according to Top Gear’s review it’s between 4th and 5th.

All of them. Neutral would be in the same place on a dogleg shift pattern as it would be on any synchronized manual transmission.

Its a shifter, nothing more and nothing less. It won’t make or break anyones purchase, except the ficticous purchases of those who weren’t in the market to begin with but felt compelled to whine about it.

I showed this to my cat and he laughed.

How is you watching them going to prevent them from stripping a drain plug or cross threading a filter? Why would you have someone work on your car that you obviously don't trust? I repaired watches and jewelry in college and every once in a while we'd get someone who wanted to hover over us while we worked. Made no

Of course there’s a Mountain Dew in the cup holder.

1st Gear = Nissan

You forgot diesel and based on a Miata.

Why does it feel like everyone on Jalopnik had more fun in HS than me...?

I bought a utility trailer. From Home Depot. For $600.
