If it were anyone other than Microsoft I'd doubt the potential market. I know Xbox fans that would fall on a sword for their brand. 

As soon as the player controls them, they cease to be an NPC. You just have a bunch of poorly developed main characters.

I know it landed during the 32-bit days, but “Alundra” is phenomenal. One of the best action/RPGs I’ve ever played. Spiritual successor to Landstalker (which you should also play).
