She doesn’t just “come off” as unsympathetic, she abandoned that kid, She agreed to this arrangement and the procedure that resulted in this child. Just because things went bad after the fact does NOT absolve her from her obligations. She is selfish, vindictive and an all around horrific person.

I don’t understand how this works. I’ve actually had two different guys try to hypnotize me to no success and it has led me to believe hypnosis is about as effective as having a quartz geode rubbed against me. Isn’t this just along the lines of those bogus exorcisms you see on youtube?

I was born in the late 80s when stories like these were hitting the news hard (kidnapped babies, switched at birth, etc). At the hospital my parents didn’t let me out of their sight, haha.

I’ve been following this story, and I can’t imagine what this poor girl is going through. And her parents must have gone through hell the last 18 years. I hope they can reconnect and form a family, but wow. There’s no getting over this.
