Weird. I do <3 me some TurboGrafx / PC Engine, was pleasantly surprised after getting a Sony Vita that there’s some on there too.
I just want to know if the much advertised Horizon Zero Dawn DLC is actually not DLC but limited timed event unlockable only... Because if so that’s heaping piles of BS. Anyone else feel like they shouldn’t be forced to buy and play the game immediately just to get these in game, especially as it’s the big PS4…
This, this is not what we need, what we need are more & better variety of quality vending machines like Japan... now that would be great! Rather than even more convenience stores (no matter what the pay method is). It’s similar to trying to fix traffic w/ self driving cars, cars are still cars! What we need there is…
If Windows and Xbox are supposed to be sharing the same gaming “ecosystem” then why can’t they release Lost Odyssey for PC already for f... sake. Would love to play it but otherwise no interest in Xbox anything.
this makes me want to play Military Madness on Turbo Grafx...
Awesome last story, I mean article ;-) for 2017. One of the best games I’ve ever played on any system.
*Also: cartridges! I was like, Switch uses SD card style carts - nice, then realized - so does the Vita! (much better than the PSP’s UMDs) Almost no loading time is a great thing.
My immediate reaction to “THE SMEG KITCHEN” in my mind = “THE SMUG KITCHEN”. All this crap, is this why the 1% need tax cuts?
Nice! I remembered that you reviewed Tri on the Wii for IGN reading this then seeing your name, you gave that one rave reviews and this new one sounds like it’s worth giving another shot. I could never get into the series, all complexity with no story or direction. Here’s hoping this one’s added story is enough to…
Oddly enough, the Switch made me get a Vita. To explain: I had gotten rid of my 3DS a while ago and was going to go on a trip overseas, wanted something for travel and considered the Switch. It was then I realized I’m not really into Nintendo IPs, it’s too big to really be comfortably portable, and I’ve been rocking…
Yeah, I gave this one an honest effort but goddamn is it cringe-worthy, never finished it. Think I stopped when the giant bunnies were introduced... was like, um, nope.
here’s a novel idea: make a game, make it great (delay if you need to), make it be a set one-time price. no patches. no micro-transactions (all characters/maps etc. unlockable w/ play). done. oh yeah, this is how it was done for years...
How ironic is it that with all the anime live-action movie adaptations that replace Asian characters with Caucasian actors now we have Caucasian characters replaced with Asian actors... [facepalm]. I think the original Japanese live-action Death Note was the only good adaptation I had seen up until Blade of the…
Been a long time since Xenogears... I have to say, what made Xenoblade on the Wii so cool was the ability to see the future and prevent unwanted outcomes during battles. Kinda wish they would of just rolled with that and kept it going. That never got old.
Nice to see Thailand getting some love.
OMG. this. was just having the new PC game dilemma with the Witcher 3... why doesn’t every game on PC have a benchmark mode?! Sleeping Dogs & Rise of the Tomb Raider have great ones that simply do fly-throughs of various environments with your chosen settings and give you a frame-rate breakdown at the end.

HZD’s compass method is the best. Combined with the full map options, they nailed it.
(can’t find edit option) edit: Magus Bride is especially good if you watch the OVAs first.
