You need to understand that people on this website have a peculiar loathing for the BRZ, because they can't seem to grasp the nature of a small high-revving engine.

10 years on a post 2006 BMW?
Are you trying to subject the guy to hell?
Ahh, classic Moe-fication.
I’d just like to point out that whenever I’m about to post I check for the Arnheim comment because it usually says something similar to what I was about to post, except more eloquently and with less swear words. It’s way easier to just give it a star.
I...wow.
I’m glad some folks are enjoying this game; everyone has their somewhere they want to be, and that somewhere doesn’t work for other folks—and that’s fine. I enjoy a great many things others think are a waste of time.
This whole kerfuffle, though, comes off as one giant kettle of “we coasted way too hard on a…
This is a good comment.
Also this chicken tax would’ve hurt me personally had it been place for my last car purchases, a japanese made Honda Fit with very high Japan made parts content. My $17,000 car would’ve become a $21,250 car (and that’s with no markup beyond the tariff), that’s a HUGE difference.
Small cars like…
It’s funny because when he started his presidency, Jalopnik would occasionally write some very valid posts about things Trump is doing that negatively impact the auto industry, and there were a LOT of very vocal Jalopnik commenters whining about how “the libs” are just trying to find things wrong with Trump and should…
As much as I hate Trump, this seems warranted. While airing out grievances on Twitter is pretty dumb, this is how many of us probably feel about the situation. Revoking subsidies for GM EVs is probably illegal though. Not gonna happen.
I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion as a suicidal teen (with what was later diagnosed as clinical depression and social anxiety), and it was, and is, probably the singular most important piece of art to me.
Tom - Thank you for this article. Not only does it make sense and a counter argument to comments, it’s also not sensationalized and very well thought out, unlike a lot of Jalop articles as of late. I continue reading the comments of the GM news articles and bash my head against my keyboard at the keyboard warriors…
Agreed. GM certainly is trying to focus in too many of the wrong areas. They’re very late to the party, and are desperately trying to catch up.
I don’t think this should be spun as a bad thing. They’re trying to prepare for a market correction/recession. The past few years have been too good for there not to be one.
Don’t sleep on the fact that he included “emissions” right there in the headline. (Although zero emissions in the context of porn isn’t usually the goal. Or so I’ve been told.)
Man, I thought I was king of the obscure cross-pollination of concepts, but to intertwine porn, betamax and blu-ray with shipping companies is impressive.
