I’ll be sure to bring bug lotion should I go there !

Hey Jason, I found this article absolutely enlightening. An uncle of mine is an avid Beetle fan, and I can clearly remember his enthusiasm when he explains these kind of things to me and my cousin .. We were in the late teens. Good times .. I think it was one of the gateway to the automotive world for me.

That guy 4 pics down? That’s magic

The future is automatic transmission and driving nannies. Deal with it.

Oh, please .. Toyobaru is in the list “As long as you’re not doing spark plugs”, but the original questions’ poster Mirage is out ?

Metal Gear Witcher. Not bad !

I’d still get a Mirage. Better fuel economy, less maintenance cost, 5-seater, much larger storage space, and 4.8m turning radius (16 feet), is that true?

Actually it had launched here a while ago, and it is a big hit.

Yeah! You just need to go up from your couch, get your car key, open it, turn it on (boot it up?), wait until the signal (3G? LTE? WiFi?) kicks in, make your order, then go back to your couch. And die tomorrow because of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Or. Buy A Mitsubishi Mirage.

Speaking of Filipino-built cars .. I think this is the best. (Hint: see the grille)

You forgot to mention about their engines, mostly surplus or ex-crash inline fours from Mitsubishi/Isuzu trucks.

Mind you, that person designed THIS. Same Gundam series.

you got it wrong. Come here to South East Asia and voila! 99% of work truck here are 4-bangers. Why? Maintenance cost, of course! And shade tree mechanics.

I see what you did there, DMRO

Yup! Small footprint, bigger headroom and legroom and cargo room than a Prius, almost the same mpg, purely analog except for the ECU .. No battery fuss, no fancy hybrid transmission to worry .. Cheap to buy, cheap to maintain, only 3 cylinders mean less sparkplugs, less valvework, also less oil (!) when it’s time ..

Or a Mirage.

I am not yet in midlife, yet I can relate to number 2..

Hey! It’s scientific already !

Hi! I can confirm this worked. I’ve upgraded 2 machines using this method and both shows as activated. However, one machine has trouble with sound, hence I did a fresh install for that one, but it also ends up as activated (skip the key entering part).
