I doubt Donny even knows what Scotland yard actually is. It is the HQ of the Metropolitan Police, which covers most of London. The equivalent of 1 Police Plaza in NYC.

I know the concept of religion draws a lot of ire and eye rolls around these parts, and I also know that we’ve got a long way to go before the church is an unmitigated force for good, but I’ll be damned if this man isn’t a great step in the right direction. I’ll probably be damned anyways as a non-believer type, but…
I like this one...........1951 Buick LeSabre concept car.
They did this all wrong. Don’t try and just paste retro lights onto the new model, you have to actually incorporate the new design language into it as well.
Also, for a little non-Drake Canadian flavour (#nodisrepecttodrake), try K-Os. He’s great - a little dreamy, a little philosophical, a lot poetic. Good stuff :)
I feel like the 90s and early 2000s had sooo much... A good “intro to conscious hip hop” would be Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Black Star (the former two’s collaboration), (early) Lupe Fiasco. I also really like Psyche Origami and Minamina Goodsong. For instrumental stuff, there are a few playlists on Spotify under…
No, you’re not alone with this. If you look for “conscious hiphop”, you still get the beats, but the lyrics aren’t -_-. I’ve been listening a lot more to instrumental hip hop as well. But I’m likely out of touch because I think most music genres now have gone down the drain since basically everyone can be famous...
Having the sick impulse to call the cops, from the site of one of the worst flood disasters in American history, to report victims of that flood for looting a supermarket; but also: a crime
Because transferring save data between servers is impossible, right?
Because having different servers would make crossplay impossible?
The logic of some people...
Seems like both sides could have handled this better. No, this is not a false equivalency, and no, it’s not a defense of one side or the other.
To those who focus on the wrong things -
Herring’s vigil is interesting. S/he had stabbed a neighbor and sliced a cop before s/he was shot. While I think that better mental health approaches need to be tried, to which I look to Britain as having a very low rate of shooting angry knife-wielders, the fact the neighbor is still in serious condition is something…
I’d say a country that is filled with people wildly running around calling everyone that disagrees with them a Nazi is pretty unhinged.
With respect, I can’t help but think this is a false choice. First Amendment jurisprudence has long been very clear that while you cannot regulate speech based on content, you can regulate the conduct that accompanies that speech, for the very simple reason that conduct is not the same thing as speech.
You’re falling into a common strawman trap, PS. They should totally be allowed to speak, but I am also totally allowed to outspeak them. No one ever has the right to be heard without consequence
Also as a white guy: doesn’t matter. The Constitution is there to protect the unpopular. That is its purpose. To protect from power.
I’m the exact opposite- all this gives me the heebs! It’s the same with reality television (though I know it’s rarely reality), I am uncomfortable seeing other people’s business. I’ve had to deal with an extremely manipulative family who wanted to know everything so they could later use things against me, so I…
