I don’t disagree, but I’d like to add that what “final” means is subject to legislation and regulations. So, it is a valid term. Like I replied to someone else, it’s like with airplanes. What makes an airplane “ready to fly”? As in, be bought by airlines.

It should be really easy IMO: any company that has a technology out for public consumption that is in “beta” (or, whatever state that is not considered “final”) is *directly* liable for whatever, only using circumstances as merit or de-merit of guilt/penalty.
