This is a direct slap to the face of Microsoft. I'm sure Metro will learn a few things from this. I can totally see Metro/Modern UI using a controller. Also, this should be platform agnostic, so you can use it on either Macs or PC (GNU/Linux should too in a few months).

I can actually attest to that argument. If you play games for a whole weekend at a LanParty (for example) with a wireless mouse, but forget to carry replace batteries or the charger, good luck with that. Also, if you actually run out of batteries in the middle of a game, good luck with that also.
