The BRZ and the 370Z cabrio aren’t selling 5k/year here in the US. BMW averages about 80 Z4 sales a month in the US. The Honda CRZ, a similar quirky, “sporty” 2 seater with twice the HP of the S660 hasn’t sold more than 300/month in the US in 3 years and just got killed off.
You didn’t buy the CRZ, why would they bring a car with even less HP and practicality over?
