Private business should not be in the insurance business as it is. It should be a public business only. Each state, even the feds, or a city/county if they are  large enough  should have their own public insurance, that way it is not predatory and profit driven. Rates can drop and basically never change. If people are

Yes I would, had from the start you written your story inspired by or based on the character. That is how that works. Every concept of the character can be changed. We see this hundreds if not thousands of times every year with different interpretation and production of previous stories.

yet all the arguments as to it being bad fall flat on their face, and come to be childish irrational arguments, with no substance.

It is not, but thanks for playing.

“how is the determined” pretty simple, it comes from the creative team. It is not up to the audience to go “oh yes that is clearly based on ____” it coms down to “based on” “inspired by” or any other language that is regular found in credits for projects.

You are taking some wildly extreme examples for your argument, to the point of diving into a pool of strawman arguments.

I would argue that your idea of particular ideas is too narrow. Those particular ideas have changed a lot over 100 years. Most people cement ideas based on their first experiences, and someone who is 60 years old is going to have vastly different particular ideas around the character than someone who is 20.

There is no limit, there can never be a limit. Not only are they fictional characters but to place a limit would be to remove all creative possibilities around them.

Thats right, go right in hard with a No True Scottsman Fallacy for your argument.

Papa Kent’s “maybe let the busload of your classmates, some of which are probably close friends, die.” goes against the very core of his character.

None of what you describing is true or accurate. Superman is what ever the writers decide for him to be, and how he interacts with the world that is created around him.

Yeah it is an odd position to take. Battery tech R&D is still relatively young, so there is always going to be new tech coming around.

This also happens in modern movies. Everything in CA:CW would have never happened had the characters made use of cell phones.

It would be able to be argued as not “excessive” as it is based on a %. With your argument anyone who does not have financial means should be able to challenge any fine based on “excessive fines” as fines for them are a greater % of their income than someone with more means, thus creating an inequity.

There are a few other countries that do this i believe, and the rest of the world really needs to adopt this as well.

and how many of those nations that you listed exist because a collection of other nations came toghther to create it by driving indigenous people off of their land?

yeah, i know, it is a large stretch for the series

The “demand” aspect is the big lie.

A half way decent movie for once?

Israel is not a thing. It was only created 70 years ago. Stop acting like it is some long established country.
