depends. If they are 8 episode seasons that is not a lot of time to really flesh out everything in thee books. Maybe the first, but not much after that.

The issues in the earlier season were smaller by comparison. This season they have been painfully glaring.

The issue was less about the episodic stories and more about the stories themselves being bad; terrible dialogue, terrible pacing, terrible acting, no internal direction within the episodes. They were a mish mash of half realized ideas that act like they were written by early AI from like 5 years ago.

The parking lot at WEM is so large that it is exhausting. One is happy to get into the mall and get out of the parking lot, like a sense of freedom and relief. How many parking lots can make you feel that way about stepping foot in a mall.
