I didn’t play MoP but when I returned in WoD and replayed areas of MoP, I was bummed I skipped out on it. I wanted to like Cata and it did things that I always thought the game should do (change up the maps) but it ended up ruining my favorite zones (Westfall and Barrens). 

Except all the endgame content was superb from the outset. The first raid tier was better than every raid tier in cata, and challenge mode dungeons were also a blast. I get the impression from most of these comments, though, that most readers here seem to participate exclusively in solo content (like questing), which

That is why I enjoyed the new leveling zone Exile’s Reach, everything that happens there is not world ending, you aren’t important, your NPC allies aren’t important, the bad guy isn’t important. It is just an adventure. It was the closest I felt to a Vanilla WoW experience.

Oh, also I hate that each expansion is us

Genuinely surprised by the MoP hate. I had so much fun with that expansion. 

My character is so tired of being the lynchpin of Azeroth’s redemption. Can’t these god modded main characters do anything for themselves for once?
