I would agree with you but she did say: “I tried to talk him out of it.”

Sorry there’s no excuse for what she didn’t do. She knew, ignored, and didn’t report her husband, which resented in 49 people dead and 53 serious wounded.
Sorry, not a convenient excuse! he had her chance when he left to kill people ( 1 hour and 45 minutes away). She could have called the police, asked for protective custody for she and the child, and told them what she knew.
I “get” what you’re saying BUT she knew and stated her involvement. Now, her family is trying to backtrack. I believe that’s why her family married her off to the first husband, because they knew she wasn’t a highly functional person. But make no mistake, she was aware of what he was doing. Because, why would her mom…
I “get” what you’re saying but it’s not going to hold-up in court. Even if she proclaims she was an abused spouse-the jury will, rightfully so, convict her. She knew, saw, and did nothing-it goes against the universal moral resposibility of doing something
Thank you!
Um.. There’s no excuse for not calling the police. She knew but didn’t want to prevent this massacre. Now, she and her family are trying to use another defense.
We don’t know if she was abused like the first wife. She ( Noor) didn’t tell the FBI she was.
True!
She knew what was going on. She may have learning disabilities but she knew what was going to happen. Remember, when she was first questioned, she lied to the FBI to cover for the husband.
True! I was thinking the same thing-maybe her mom was drinking when she was carrying her-and this is result.
I agree there’s more to her than just learning disabilities
I don’t know? She did say she “tried to talk him out of it” so to me, that means she was aware of what he was going to do and what was going to happen.
