Right now(more like the last 4 or 5 months) I have been really fixated on pre-WWII race cars. Stuff like the P3 Monoposto, Monza, the Silver arrows.

DAMN! I meant the Inline 5 loses the emptyness at higher revs! I have heard a stock GTR in person, I was disappointed. Maybe I will hear it over the summer, when car shows start to appear. Maybe they should add anti-lag, that fixes everything!
I know its modified, but I think the rear end of the car is the best looking part of it. And this was a very nice photo. But I dont really agree with that. It still sounds. . . strange. I can't explain it. Its sounds empty like an Inline 5, but the difference is that the Inline 5 loses that emptyness at lower…

Group B rally cars sounded pretty damn sweet! Personally though, never been a big fan of inline 4's. Thought they were one of the weaker engine notes. I think everyone should have an inline 5 in their car! Then we can all sound like we have Gallardos! Seriously though, you didnt like the Alfa Romeo V6?
I say the Nissan GTR. Pretty capable car, but when you listen to it. . . well it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. I blame society!
TAKE BACK WHAT YOU JUST SAID ABOUT THE V6!!!

Oh yes. . . the Alfa Romeo 8C! And yes, the chains are in the middle of the block. Its actually two 4 cylinder blocks connected by the same crank!
I went to the factory. . . possibly one of the coolest factories ever! Its so cool watching people work and having fun at the same time. I think I saw someone singing to a pop song on the radio at the time, while aligning body panels.
YES!! Completely agree! This engine is a beauty! Not just to look at but to listen to, especially in the Murcielago. It was like an F1 car gone mad! Or the final lap of Le Mans with Steve McQueen at the wheel of the 917!
Hopefully they will stay open(the basement tour that is) till the end of the summer, because I am going to L.A. then! Its going to be awesome. . . hopefully.
Sadly(actually. . . happily) the engine is still made by Lamborghini. . . But I do think there is a German flag in the interior.
Don't worry, it was found by a collector. It is quite a story. Here is the full story.
It was actually jjchism who linked the story, so all credit to him/her!
I personally enjoy the sound, and having the pleasure to rev out a car for that little bit longer. In the end the horsepower output is the same.
I think its obvious. . .
HOW DARE THEE INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE!! I CHALLENGE THEE TO A DUEL! *says quietly* thank you.
I really want to like this car. But I just can't. It must be the front end, it looks all weird, like a whale feeding on plankton. And the engine could have been better, 640hp is great! But I wish the redline was higher. On a brighter note! The car is scary, and its rear end looks pretty good!
WHAT!!! I MUST KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!! OFF TO GOOGLE!
