I work at Walmart and our store manager once fired someone for eating a chicken that was about to be thrown away. It was a cooked rotisserie chicken that was still in the box, lying on top of a trash bag about to be thrown away. The guy (who was an awesome worker and had been there for years) was fired for “stealing.”
