Is it just me or did *a lot* of the supposed examples in the news story not actually exhibit “vocal fry”? Like about 50% of them. I think the people doing these stories aren’t entirely clear on what vocal fry even is.

I like her and hate most of the nasty things people say about her. But this is garbage.

No sir-ee, the Republicans certainly DO NOT have a “war on women”! Mmmhmmm.

No, it’s not. It’s extended shots of her laying/standing there in some kind of Marie Antoinette costume.

You have to watch Bloodline!

Birkin is a person?

I don’t know but I’ve been grey over 6 months with no end in sight.

Well, sounds like SOMETHING in unReal has hit a little close to home. Snicker.

Are we surprised though? This is Jezebel, and they have an official “opinion” on this matter that they seem obliged to stick to, despite actual facts.

There’s no leaping, it’s clearly implied in your post.

Because the real story is not nearly as good for clickbait as “omg Instagram is body shaming!!!”

What would she even have in there that she needed to throw in the garbage?

Seriously, you’re going to try and pin this on her friends and family? $500 is a lot for some people. And she didn’t even know what she’d been arrested for, and shouldn’t even have been arrested. She shouldn’t have been there in the first place.

Considering the guy that first declared her death to be by suicide said he “thought” he saw a plastic bag “near” her body, how can we be confident evidence was even properly preserved, let alone not tampered with?

I do find supposed “room temperature” to be a few degrees colder than I’m comfortable at.

I feel like he just kept repeating her words in his head over and over, trying to understand, because he seemed a bit stuttery afterwards :)

It is derogatory, but also seems that most people find them socially acceptable?

Obvs he’s an aristocrat, he has a french name and drinks wine.

My stepdad did always say the Ferengi were meant to mock republicans...

“The Daily Beast points out that Siddique, quite ironically, teaches English 101 and 102 classes, meant to teach students about “forming coherent arguments.” He also teaches a journalism class, which spends a week focusing on “feature writing on sensitive (race/gender/class) issues.” ”
