I guess it’s an outsider’s interpretation of the accent. I live in Canada and people tend to make fun of Canadians for saying “aboot”. I’ve never in my life heard someone say “aboot”, I do hear an accent and it sounds more like “aboat” to me. But perhaps sounds different to others.

I don’t know why but I’m a bit annoyed Kristen Dunst is in this. I want to say I wish they’d given an actress that’s a little more obscure a chance, but there are some other faces I recognize in there that I’m not finding annoying so that’s not really fair is it?
