That’s an incredibly stupid take. I listen to podcasts at speeds that amount to as much as 3x. I do it because I’m enjoying them and I want to listen to more of them than I could at 1x. Literally the only podcasts I listen to at 1x are a couple that are primarily music or the one that is just a cat purring.
