It’s definitely your place but if you need to discriminate for whatever reason, then you’re free to use another service that doesn’t have a policy against it.

Then don’t post your place on airbnb. If you have a house for rent in the US, you are subject to the Federal Fair Housing Act. so legally, you cannot turn away a renter based on religion or race.

EXCEPT, if you use a service like AirBnB to do it, you’ve agreed to their terms and conditions.

I was on AirBnB’s site the other day and I saw all kinds of pictures of black people showing up to rent homes and apartments on their pages. So I just naturally assumed they were as diverse and racially sensitive as every community college catalog I’ve ever seen.

On Democracy Now there’s a video, where the dog’s mouth is covered in blood, and the “handlers” (hired goons?) clearly have no idea what they are doing. It’s an absolute shit-show, because these people are Native and apparently everyone just shrugs when you abuse them.

Especially disgusting that they used “private security” to use attack dogs and pepper spray. We’re used to cops, but, apparently, corporate mercenaries are now allowed to assault and batter.

A friend of mine was out west already when the protests started. She joined them about two weeks ago.

This is disgusting, and the use of dogs to attack protesters is particularly vile. There was an account of a child being bitten by one of the dogs brought in, not to mention several adults.

The idea is to force a lawsuit. Then they can just pay out a few million dollars and get on with the project. The fine is a rounding error compared with the overall programme budget, it’s the delay which is a problem. Construction works like that.
